Remote Control via RS232

1. Instrument Connection

Connect the multimeter to PC using RS232 cable.

2. Configure RS232 Parameters

Select RS232 interface and configure its parameters according to “Interface

Configurations” in chapter 2.

3. Search RS232 Device

Turn on the Ultra Sigma and click

to enter the communication

setting interface shown below. After you configure parameters according to

the instrument serial port parameters (“\r\n” must be selected in End Mark),

click

to test the RS232 communication. When the communication

succeeds, the searched devices are shown in resource list at the right side of

the panel; otherwise, follow the guides to solve the problem.
